Who am I? Well, let's see...

I'm an undergraduate student at University College, University of Toronto. I'm probably one of the few really hard-core Catholics at University College (there's a reason why it calls itself, "the Godless College"), and likely the only Christianity and Culture student at UC. (The Christianity and Culture program is run through St. Michael's College, the Catholic college at U of T. It's basically an unholy cross between a history, a theology, and a sociology program, with aspects of about fifty other disciplines thrown in for good measure. I love it.)

Outside of classes, most of my time is occupied by singing. I've never had any formal vocal training :( , but I've been singing in various choirs (both secular and sacred) since I was a young boy. Right now, most of my singing is with the sacred music program at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Parish in Toronto, one of the two parishes run by the Toronto community of the Congregation of the Oratory (of St. Philip Neri). I'm a member of the parish choir, and one of the founding members of a Gregorian chant schola there. I also sing with the Anno Domini Chamber Singers, an amateur choir in Toronto. I sing tenor - except when the director of the St. Vincent's parish choir presses me into singing alto on Sunday mornings because we don't have enough altos. *sigh*

I have been in love with Apple's Macintosh computing platform ever since my first encounter with a Mac Plus in 1989. Right now, I have about twenty Macs in my room, ranging from an old Plus to a 12" PowerBook G4. I think I need to trim down my collection, because I'm running out of room - but how can I bear to get rid of any of them? *sob*
